The Akwai app is a social network based around goals and accountability. It has a marketplace with thousands of Action Plans that help you accomplish specific objectives. These Action Plans cover a wide variety of goals and include solutions from books and curriculum. Akwai’s app gives you daily and weekly guidance on how to accomplish your selected goal. It also tracks your progress and pairs you with accountability partners for structured check-ins.
Improving yourself and your situation is literally one of the hardest things you can do in life. Sometimes it is unbearably boring and lonely. The Akwai Hero’s League (or AHL), was created to make productivity more enjoyable and exciting! Because the Akwai app makes it possible to quantify the amount of effort you put toward goals, we were able to build a sport around ‘accountability’. This sport is called ‘competitive accountability’ and you will compete in solo/team matches against other Akwai members. The AHL has some of the bells and whistles you’d expect from any other major sports league, including;
sportscaster and talk-show hosts who cover AHL news…
brands who sponsor competitors and advertise products…
management companies that help players build their brands…
sports agencies that help athletes manage agreements…
amateur and collegiate leagues that supply new talent…
As a new recruit, your first objective is to get on the roster of an amateur team. Everyone’s experience will be unique, but here are some plot-points you will likely encounter in your journey:
The first step in getting on a team is to get registered with the AHL Players Association. Here you will learn about the league and declare what goals you will be tracking through the Akwai app.
Now that you’re registered to compete in the league, it’s time to tryout for an amateur team. Each team holds Competitive Accountability Tournaments where prospects can showcase their abilities. During these three-round tournaments, you will compete against other payers by using the Akwai app to track the steps your taking toward your real-life goals.
You will be contacted by AHL Team Scouts as you move up in the ranks. This is the time to start interviewing AHL Agents to find someone who will help you navigate sponsorships, promotions and other league intricacies. AHL Team Scouts and AHL Agents are other players, just like you, who participate in AHL Volunteer-Occupations.
In order to qualify to compete in the AHL Championships, you will first need to participate in 8 different Themed Tournaments. Each has competitions that are themed on different goal categories (for example; career goals, fitness goals, mindset goals, altruistic goals, relationship goals etc).
