Introduction

ASU received a $1,500,000 grant to fund interdisciplinary approaches to increasing the net income of Arizona households by 10%. We believe anyone can change lives simply by being an accountability partner, so we’ve created a marketplace where people can buy and sell Virtual Accountability Packages (VAPs). VAPs can be created and managed through the Akwai app. VAPs can be as simple as creating an Akwai Action Plan once and selling it unlimited times for $10 - $50. If you want to be more involved, you can bundle your Action Plan with additional services to be compensated as much as $300 per month. If you make yourself available to provide VAPs to our members, we can do the heavy lifting of marketing and promotion. We are producing a flood of innovative, inspiring and engaging YouTube shows to generate buzz around this new industry. One of those shows is called ‘Ultra-Year Vlogs’ and we’d like to periodically record interviews with you as you participate in our Ultra-Year program. For our application to receive the ASU grant, we are running an experiment to see how much extra income you can generate by being a VAP provider.

Plans and Pricing

Package A: $0 setup fee and $0 per month

You can download and use the Akwai app for free.

Package B: $80 setup fee and $0 per month

You will be able to participate in the Ultra-Year program (starting January 1st) and enjoy everything explained on its webpage https://www.akwai.com/ultra. You may also receive free Action Plans each month.

This package is ideal for those who are interested in the productivity and accountability that Ultra-Year provides but who are not interested in generating extra income or vlogging.

Package C: $100 setup fee and $0 per month

You will receive everything in Package B plus…

You will be provided with the ever-evolving Architect Vlogging Guide. This guide has step by step instructions for starting a high-quality vlog for the first time, it will show you what to do on a weekly basis to be successful and it will teach you how to generate income via YouTube advertising and sponsorships.

Every two weeks you can submit a video of yourself responding to the Ultra-Year Vlog Updates. Each bi-weekly update will ask you different questions about your Ultra-Year progress and will be interesting enough to help you consistently build a viewership.

You will also have opportunities to be featured in the other YouTube shows that are explained on the Vlogging webpage https://www.akwai.com/architects.

You will be taught how to create and sell Akwai Action Plans for $10 - $50. Creating Action Plans is as simple as writing and arranging Boms. Learn more about Boms here https://www.akwai.com/ultra/#boms.

You can become an Akwai Architect and offer the Virtual Accountability Packages (VAPs) explained here https://www.akwai.com/ultra/#vaps. You will be able to charge $50 - $300 per month for each of these services.

You will receive a $40 - $60 referral bonus each time someone becomes an Ultra-Year member by [a] using the referral code on your vlog videos or [b] being personally referred by you.

Through video calls, we will help you create an introductory experience made to onboard new Akwai users. We provide guidance and scripts for producing video lessons that will go alongside this Action Plan. Anytime someone joins Akwai because of you this will be their first experience and they’ll be encouraged to purchase your VAPs.

Package D: $100 setup fee and $30 per month

You will receive everything in Package C plus…

We will setup a YouTube page, Instagram account and Facebook page specifically to promote your VAP business. We will do the graphic design and write all the introductions/descriptions for these accounts.

We will post to the Instagram and Facebook accounts once per week. Each post will have an image/video, captions and hashtags to grow your following.

Rather than producing your bi-weekly Ultra-Year Vlog Updates on your own, our vlog reporter will do a live interview with you through a video call. This will be recorded and turned into a YouTube video which will be posted on your Facebook and Instagram accounts. Each time these update videos are posted, they will encourage people to purchase your VAPs.

Package E: $100 setup fee and $150 per month

You will receive everything in Package D plus…

We can post to the Instagram and Facebook accounts once per day rather than once per week. You can choose traditional posts or Facebook Stories/Instagram Stories (which vanish after 24-hours).

We will manage your Facebook or Instagram paid ads. Whatever you decide to spend on ads has to come out of your own pocket (not the monthly fee).

Rather than your bi-weekly Ultra-Year Vlog Updates being recorded through video calls, the interviews can be done in-person. We can come to your location or you can come to ours. The quality of these videos will be enhanced because we can control the camera angles, lighting and backdrop. These videos will also have custom intros and outros.

Additionally, you can choose to have an interview every week rather than every other week. These supplemental interviews will have different focuses and help you build your audience faster.
